Sunday 20 March 2022 saw the #LU4C #Crew visit Steenberg’s Cove Primary School in St Helena Bay as part of the #50For50 #SchoolShoe Campaign. Driving into St Helena, seeing the beautiful coastal area, holiday homes, smells of the seafood on the braai, it was easy to fall into holiday mode. The reality kicked in when we arrived at the school and realizing the economic impact on a community who rely one a seasonal income. It sounds cliché but it is true for every school that LU4C visits, these learners and educators truly found a special place in our hearts and we look forward to visiting the SC family again.
