On 16 July 2022 Irafaan Abrahams and Ashraf Mia ran the Cape Town Festival of Running 100km event. Their intention was to raise funds to provide learners with a winter warmer kit made up of a beanie, a scarf and a pair of gloves.
Our new friends at Sexy Socks joined this campaign by donating 5000 pairs of school socks to round off this winter warmer kit.
We were able to deliver these kits to Dietrich Moravian Primary, Berea Primary, L.R Schmidt Primary, Arieskraal Primary, Maxonia Primary, St Michael’s Primary, Steenberg Cove Primary, Ezelfontein Primary and Tandfontein Primary. The schools will issue the kits to their learners.
