What an amazing day spent at Thornton Islamic Society. They have created a kitchen that is FREELY available to all communities to make use of their facilities.
They have Gas Burners, Pots, buckets etc; all you would need to cook your pots of food if you do not have the facility to do so.
The #LU4CCrew spent the morning with Junior playing members of the Fishrite Hanover Park Cricket Club The club instils the value of “giving back” to their playing members and in collaboration with the club we taught these juniors how to prepare the 100L pots of food. The idea, empower the youth to keep feeding their communities.
Alghamdulliah, 2x pots, 1 chicken and 1 meat pot was beautifully prepared by these youngsters. Not just did it look good, but it tasted divine. A special thanks to SPICE etc for your donation of spices…. Next level lekkerness
