Praise be to God – تَحْمِيد
After completing 50 Half Marathons, collating and auditing the donations received, on Wed 2 March 2022 we handed over a brand new pair of school shoes to each learner at the Dietriech Moravian Primary School in Phillipi.
We thank all of our donors, large and small, for your support over the last year in helping us get to this point – DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOOL SHOES!
We give thanks to SANZAF for partnering with us by donating stationary packs to the learners who all looked so proud to own their new shoes and stationary.
We are also thankful to the team at Radio 786 for their support in sharing the message and rallying their listeners behind this cause.
The coming weeks are going to be extremely busy for #thecrew as we make our rounds around the Western Cape distributing school shoes to learners in need. Saturday 5th March 2022 we are headed to Genadendal – the place of the first Teachers’ Training College in South Africa, founded in 1838.
