Boeber Run – An Introduction

Friday the 5th November 2021, marked an auspicious evening in the history of Liesbeeck Primary School.

With two #LU4C members teaching at the school, many staff had always expressed interest to join the NPO on one of their #BoeberRuns or food distributions.
With this in mind, 15 staff members and friends pledged, to join Irafaan Abrahams, Haaniem Sulaiman and Sufyaan Davids, feed 400 homeless and destitute guests from Woodstock, chapel Street Bridge, cape Town CBD to Sea Point.
The rest was history, an eye opener to many, about the plight and circumstances of homeless people.

The Liesbeeck Primary staff has now pledged to do a food distribution atleast once a month moving forward.
