I come from an area known as Tafelsig. For as long as I've stayed here , I noticed that there is a need in my community. I could not stand the thoughts of people going to bed hungry or wondering where their next meal for their family's is going to come from and knowing the type of heart I have , I got the urge to help my community.

I wanted to make a difference in people's lives , put a smile on their faces and make them believe that their are good people in this world. I came across this organisation that could do just that. I was 17 years old when I started as volunteer with LU4C. I always knew I wanted to help my community and find a way to leave my legacy behind , so when I started as a volunteer I knew this was the best decision I could have ever made.

Not only does it allow me to fulfil all the goals I had for my community, but it also opened my mind and eyes and made me realize that there is so much more to life. I am excited to continue my journey with LU4C and continue to make a positive difference in people's lives
